There is no single ‘type’ of member here. We are a diverse, vibrant community of women aged 50+ who share a common goal: enjoying a great social life and making genuine new friends. Whether you love quiet coffee chats or lively nights out, you’ll fit right in.

Yes, we are an exclusive, member-only community. Your security and peace of mind are a key priority. Because everyone registers with their full name and a clear photo on our private app, you will always know exactly who is joining you at every event. It makes walking into a room of new faces so much easier!

Membership is just $15 per month, or $150 annually if you prefer to save with a yearly plan. Every dollar goes directly into running the group and creating special initiatives for you. (Please note; membership fees cover group administration, not the cost of attending any events).

To keep our community safe and private for everyone, we don’t allow non-members or casual guests to attend events. If you’re not sure, we highly recommend joining for one month to test the waters. The same rule applies to friends or sisters—they are very welcome to join the fun, they just need to sign up for a membership first.

We do! Our calendar is entirely created by our members. Hosting is incredibly easy: you simply choose a time and place you want to visit, make the booking, and post it on the app. Once it is posted, your job is done. You don’t need to play tour guide—in fact, members sometimes post events they can’t even attend themselves.

All over the Perth metro area. Our events pop up wherever members want to go. To give you an idea, across just six weeks in April and May, our ladies hosted catch-ups in over 40 different suburbs—stretching from Currambine and Herne Hill all the way down to Armadale and Fremantle.

It is completely up to the host. Dinners usually welcome 6 to 10 ladies, active events (like darts or pasta making) can be up to 20, and our regular walks have no limit at all. Plus, four times a year, our committee throws big whole-group events where everyone is invited—the ultimate way to expand your social circle.

While we certainly love a good wine and dine, our calendar is packed with variety. On any given week, you can find our members doing everything from hiking and yoga to mahjong, cinema trips, archery, pasta making, theatre, Canasta, and Zumba. There is truly something for everyone.

Ladies Connecting is proudly steered by a dedicated committee of volunteers. We are members just like you, and we are voted into our roles at the AGM to keep the community organised, safe, and thriving.

Not at all. Our entire community is powered by a user-friendly app which sits on a platform called Heylo. You will receive a handy, step-by-step guide the moment you join to get you up to speed. If you ever get stuck, our friendly committee is just a quick message away via our contact us form.

If you’ve paid for an annual subscription but your circumstances change and you unfortunately need to leave us, get in touch and we’ll refund your fees for the outstanding months (this applies only to full months).
